Frequently Asked Questions

Real answers to the questions most people have before placing their order.

Ordering & Process

How does the Klyros Dental process work?

The entire process happens from the comfort of your home. Order online, receive a professional impression kit, take your impressions at your own pace, and upload photos. A licensed dentist in our network reviews your case and, if appropriate, issues a prescription. Your custom flexible partial is then fabricated by a certified U.S. dental laboratory and shipped directly to you. Same clinical standards as a dental office — just more convenient and affordable.

Do I need to visit a dentist in person?

No. Klyros uses secure teledentistry with a licensed U.S. dentist who reviews your impressions and photos. You get real professional oversight without appointments, travel, or office fees. If we determine in-person care is needed for your situation, we'll let you know immediately.

How long does the process take?

Most patients receive their appliance in 3–5 weeks from ordering. Here's what the timeline looks like:

Much faster than the multiple visits and long waits of a traditional dental office.

What if my impressions don't come out right?

We've designed the process with this in mind. You can retake impressions as many times as needed at no extra cost. Your kit includes a detailed step-by-step PDF guide, and you'll have access to our app which provides a real-time guided walkthrough as you take your impressions. Most importantly, a licensed dentist in our network reviews photos of your impressions before fabrication begins. If anything looks off, we'll guide you through it — you're fully supported every step of the way.

Quality & Fit

What kind of appliance does Klyros coordinate?

We coordinate custom flexible partial dentures to replace one or more missing teeth. Every appliance is professionally prescribed by a licensed dentist and fabricated in a certified U.S. dental lab using high-quality, flexible, metal-free materials. This is a legitimate, prescription-only dental appliance — not an over-the-counter product.

Will my appliance actually fit and feel comfortable?

The majority of our patients get a great fit on the first try. Like any custom removable appliance, minor refinements are sometimes needed — that's true whether you go through a dental office or through us. 60-Day Fit Assurance™. If you still have fit or comfort issues after a short 5-day adjustment period, a licensed dentist in our network reviews your case. If it's a fabrication issue, we coordinate up to 3 free adjustments with the lab, with shipping both ways covered. If it's still not right after 3, a Priority Remake is available for a flat $199. Terms apply.

Who actually makes my appliance?

Your partial is fabricated by a certified U.S. dental laboratory — the same type of professional labs that serve local dentists. Klyros coordinates the process but does not manufacture appliances ourselves. This ensures professional-grade quality and materials on every single order.

How does this compare to going to a traditional dental office?

Traditional offices often charge $1,500–$3,000 or more for a removable partial due to multiple appointments and office overhead. Klyros delivers the same core clinical process — licensed dentist review, valid prescription, certified U.S. lab fabrication — at a significantly lower cost, with zero office visits and direct-to-door delivery.

Fit Assurance & Support

What happens if my appliance doesn't fit perfectly?

60-Day Fit Assurance™. If you still have fit or comfort issues after a short 5-day adjustment period, a licensed dentist in our network reviews your case. If it's a fabrication issue, we coordinate up to 3 free adjustments with the lab, with shipping both ways covered. If it's still not right after 3, a Priority Remake is available for a flat $199. Terms apply. To submit a fit concern, use our secure patient form.

What is the refund policy?

Custom-made for you, so orders are final once sent to the lab. Cancel before then for a refund minus a $59.99 service fee. Full terms are on our Refund Policy page.

Safety & Legitimacy

Are the dentists actually licensed?

Yes. Every case is reviewed by an independently licensed dentist who exercises their own clinical judgment. They are not Klyros employees — they are independent practitioners. A valid prescription is required before any appliance is fabricated. This is a real clinical process.

Is Klyros Dental a dental office?

No. Klyros is a teledentistry coordination platform. We connect you with licensed dentists and certified U.S. labs to make professional dental appliances accessible without the barriers of traditional care. We do not practice dentistry — all clinical decisions are made by a licensed dentist in our network.
